So I put mine on (obviously put the longer ones on front). There is like NO slack in the front cables though. I'm afraid to turn the wheels because they are tight.

When I had them off the car, they appeared to be the same length as the OEM rubber hoses, but I think the rubber flexed a lot easier.

I seem to remember someone saying they bent the tabs/brackets a little, but I don't want them interfering with the shocks/springs.

If anyone here has the stainless goodridge lines, I'd like some input.

Here's a photo of the drivers side:

I've got them.
I think we even had a slight conversation about making sure you have them angled right so they don't rub your tires.

I just figured out your problem.
Put you wheel back on and get it off the jack stands.
You'll get some slack.

crazy

BTW...
Those gold calipers are going to look freakin' awesome with your paint color.

Thanks Bobby, I KNEW someone had talked with me about this before, but I couldn't remember which GP forum it was.

Good point about getting slack when the shocks compress, I hadn't considered that. I was just so afraid to bleed the brakes, get everything done and then realize I can't turn my wheels.

Trust me, I will be FAR from rubbing on my tires.

Is the stainless supposed to help with stopping power? I haven't read up on this mod, sorry.

Gives you a more firm brake pedal. Regular brake lines are rubber and they will expand under high pressure. Stainless lines have ruber inner liner (I think), but the braided Stainless prevents the line from expansion under high pressure. So all the force goes straight to the caliper.

I definitely notice a difference, but it's hard for me to tell if it's the lines or the new pads and rotors. My old rotors were warped like crazy.

I expected a little more, but it was a noticable difference.

I was speaking with a representative from Powerslot a few months ago. That guy said that the only time you really need SB lines is if you're into competition road racing (not street racing, that stuff is both very dangerous and illegal. Like anyone here would participate in street racing, right? Thank you, we may continue). Most of the time, DDs dont come close to using the flex-control properties of SB, MUCH LESS needing said flex-control.

cheers Agreed. I have rims that are pretty open. I love the look of exposed rotor/caliper. I consider the brake lines to be a touch of detail as well.
