Hey all,

Getting to be that time to change the pads and was wondering if people could chime in on the brands of ceramic pads they have bought. I have replaced all four before with Delco and am happy but am looking to see if anyone has had a better experience with other brands.

I know Napa has two grades one about 50ish and the other around 80. I think autozone has Morse for under 50. Prices are obivously for one pair.

Thanks in advance.

Haven't heard any negatives about Hawks ceramic pads. Matter of fact that's what I'm going with on my next brake change.

Yeah...

I've got Morse on all 4. The front pair was ~32 plus tax. The rear pair was ~35 plus tax.

HPS for next year.

Don't use metallic pads, use ceramics.

I purchased some sort of generic ceramic ones off ebay. I think I got them all for under $70 shipped.. maybe less. I've had them on for 7-8 months and they're still lookin good last time I checked.

Ceramics help with brake dust because the dust they produce is lighter colored, and less of it I believe

Get the Morse pads from Autozone. They have a 2yr warranty and the guys on ClubGP give them great reviews. I've also had customers who say they work great with no dust besides general road grime on their wheels.

i went with factory pads on the last two times of having to change brake pads. the first set last 70k and the second set last 60k. you pay a little higher for them, but they last a long time and they don't damage your rotor.
