I don't know if you need to do it or not, I have no HID experience, but all you need to do to disable the DRL is pull the fuse. Its in the fuse panel next to the glove box.

Ok looks like you need to disable your DRL's and the headlight flash when you unlock the car.

Just pulling the fuse won't work on the '03. I think it was after the '01s that the fuse trick stopped working.

There's a module just inside the driver's side access panel on the side of the dash you have to unplug.

Wait, so there IS a way to disable them for the 02+? I knew about the fuse for the 01 and older, but I thought I was just s*** out of luck.

Where is this module I need to pull? lol

Acefighter: open the drivers side door, there is a little popout thingy, then you will see a thing with grey/silver lines and something plugged into it, mine was a PITA to get out because mine was farther down...

brandon: im not sure how to disable them but you could get a headlight delay harness, i think it's only like 15 bucks and then you dont have to worry about messing with chimes and unplugging fuses and what not... the harness delays the headlights long enough to not flash when unlocked or locked

Now if you disable the DRL's will the mess with the automatic timers that cause the headlights and the dash lights to go on?

If you unplug the relay in the dash your auto headlights and dash lights still work.
