what is this hose or tube what is it used for i was cleaning my car today and i saw that it was broken and i just want to know if its bad or not

It controls the interior vacuum parts for your HVAC. Mine hooks to the little 3-piece vacuum port on top of the blower where the brake booster hooks up. I don't know if that's the correct factory position though, since mine didn't come with an L67.

yes it runs to the back of the motor on top by the fuel rails humm any idea on how i should go on fixing that ??

No, not right. It does work with HVAC. There is a connecting hose down near the fuse box.
My buddy air wasn't flowing through the vents like it should. Sure enough that hose came disconnected.

No, RooK, you're right.

That line runs all the way into the cabin, into the HVAC controller.

It (de)pressurizes the system that the electric controls adjest for your vents and stuff.

Not sure where it connects on a stock L67 though.

But whatever you do, make sure you hook it to a vacuum-only port, meaning on the throttle-body side of the rotors.

I think it's a bad idea to push boost through that thing.

wait, so on my car no matter what setting i put the vents on it comes out of everywhere. is that the same problem??

Check the line for breaks. If broke replace or splice with rubber vacuum lines.

yes its broken thats why i was wondering what it did and ways i can fix it some things that i thought about was sticking some heat shrink around it and then sealing it because i have some layen around or i will go look for some hose to fix it up

Just buy vacuum line that is a tight fit over it and use it as a 'splice.'
