Does anyone know if the sony cdx-F5700 HU supports the steering wheel controls? Does it have a plug in for it? Thanks -Phil

I believe there is a box you can purchase for about $50-$60 that hooks up any head unit to work with the steering wheel controls. I remember seeing this somewhere, not sure where though. Maybe someone else knows.

It the Pacific Accessories SWI-X (Pac SWI-X) or something like that. I bought it off of clubgpstore.com. I paid an extra 30 bucks for someone to install it because as much as I don't like to admit it, it confused the hell outta me.

I've always found Crutchfield to be very helpful with any questions about stereo's and installing them, and any other extra's that may be needed for the install to get everything working right.

I know what he is talking about, but I don't believe that hooks up into the SWI-X unit. The unit must be wired into the wires in your harness.
I wish it was as simple as plug and play.
