That's right. It seems as though ZZP has entered into the PCM world. Let the battle begin.

Verrry interesting. Nice price too.

If they could PROVE to me that it would have less KR and same performance as my intense, I'd do it.

I was thinking about getting an Overkill after Bobby's little write up...if zzp could do something that good for only $70...well why not!

Framos you beat me to it, haha.

To quote somebody else, "There is absolutely no reason someone can't get a aftermarket PCM for their GP now. NONE"

Not only is it a good price but it says:

2001 and newer GTP PCM's ship with a PCM pin/extension wire and instructions for adding performance shift to your car. There is no charge, we are simply increasing the value of your PCM purchase with ZZP.

That is a good deal considering it costs an extra 100 dollars to get a shift knob and harness kit on PFYC for 2001 and newer GTPs.

That is a good deal, but I don't really want to add a shift knob to my car. I like it the way it is. I actually view that as a negative to the zzp PCM.

The one thing that really is different between the I-PCM, DHP, and ZZP is the fan on after key off.
Intense - 3 min
DHP - 2 min
ZZP - 1 1/2 min

I just find that kinda interesting, but I'm strange that way. crazy

...and I still think Intense has the best transmission settings.

I don't think they're the same. Theres so many different things to adjust that are mostly preference. I do, however, think it will make little difference to most customers.

Umfan, I don't think thats a negative, since either don't have ot use it, or you could just ground the wire under the hood for perf shift all the time. Or ask them not to do it when you order.

I must agree 100% with that, but thats the only thing they win at with the PCM

It seems as though ZZP struck a deal with HP tuners.

I just want to know what the tranny settings are like for the zzp, and how much KR it has. I'm almost tempted to get my stock one programed by zzp and then scan it for KR to compare against my intense PCM for KR.

UM, I agree. I'd like to see how the trans settings are on the ZZP also.
