Ok, so time has come when im sick of the stock system in the gtp. Its the premium, but it just wont go as loud as I want without distortion. All is well, I still have the deck, amp, and subs out of my cavalier. As far as wiring the deck...what to do? I know there's a factory amp for the rear, so Id imagen just pick a set of speakers to use and wire straight from the deck, but what about up front? How do the front speakers work? Is there a crossover, or do the tweeters just run off the woofers? Is there a factory amp to them also?

It has been my experiace that if you get a wiring harness for you car it will hook up using the factory amp. You will not be able to controll the sub with the deck sub out put if it has one. But your sound will increase with clarity and quality if you have a good head unit"deck" Wiring harnes shoud be a gmo5"scoshe part 3" You will also need a dash kit and ant adapter.

dash kit is already found. From my understanding, I can find the inputs to the amp that should be behind my glove compartment in my car.. use the rear preouts to hook to that, and I still have my sub outs and front speaker outputs.

www.crutchfield.com is helpful. Call them if you can't find anything on their website. they have been more than helpful with me.

Crutchfield is good I don't much care for them. I would try Scoche or AAmps of America. Dash kits, wirring harness, sterring wheel controls. and all car audio accessories. I still have connections in the audio business if you need more help.
