rockers and cam?
Thats nowhere close to cheap, that is unless you do the work yourself.
Still, i personally wouldn't consider a mod upwards of 300 bucks cheap.

If you want a "noticable" difference, you have to spend the money. If you are modding a car and not doing the work yourself, then you are NEVER going to find "cheap" mods. Of course I assumed that he was doing it himself.

Do you have a better idea as to what he should get for cheaper that has a better gain?

By the time you get the headers I'm sure somebody will buy your old P-log.

There's always somebody looking for one.

For less than $300 you'll have like an extra 20hp from that pulley. And you WILL feel it.

Only other thing i could think of that not overly expensive would be a smller pulley, and any at all supporting mods left that are needed for it. But it seemsboost has em all.

Im not saying that modding isnt expensive, i was just saying how its hard to do anything without spending alot of cash.

i would love to get a tune but the only good place around here that does it costs about 600.

i do almost all of the work on my car but i dont think im ready to do a cam yet.

and i know that theyre expensive but what about the intercoolers or methanol injection?

As of this moment, you exhaust is holding you back on your power. It flows only as well as it's most restrictive part.

And that's your front manifold.

Intercooling and meth aren't going to do anything for you because you aren't pushing the boost to need either of them.

And if you start pushing that kind of boost, the IC and meth injection aren't going to make your exhaust flow any better.

If you want an I/C now, then you can drop a bunch of pulleys.

But a PLOG is going to be what you need now

zerg is right, it's like a chain, only as strong as your weakest link, which like he said is your exhaust.

more boost will increase hp but along with more boost comes the need of a more free-flowing exhaust and the ability to cool the temps.

I say skip the powerlog and get some used headers. I wish I had, would have saved me alot of money.

Been there done that.
I did love my plog setup though.
I love the way it looks and the exhaust tone was perfect.
Now it is all fubard.
