Im sure it will because they hardly made any of them....
only the really special models of the GP will hold value later on. like the limited, or the 40th anniversary, pace cars.
if you have a regular old GT or GTP I wouldn't depend on my kids college funding on selling the GP in 15 years.

Cant we send e-mails to the top heads at GM or get a letter writing campaign to save Pontiac? Once Pontiac is gone its all over. Lets do something positive to save Pontiac.

I doubt that we could send an email that would really impact the head honcho's at GM. They have bigger problems than to read fan mail from Pontiac lovers. They should worried about their pensions and big ol' salaries. Cutting internal competition, like Herc said, is what they need to do. Why waste the money for two almost identical molds?

I agree with R.S. they wouldn't read it if we sent it to them. I think it would be good if GM cut some brands out of production. This is sort of like a Haiku, but not.

besides GMC and Chevrolet, Pontiac is the next-best-selling division. http://media.corporate-ir.net/media_file...ctober_2008.pdf

I wish GM would have kept the Grand Prix. THe G8 is rear wheel drive. I need front wheel drive for the snowy conditions.

Dang, I think I'm "bad luck" with car brand company. When I have 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. The Oldsmobile went out of business. Now, I own 2 Pontiac Grand Prix. Now Pontiac is possible out of business. I guess I need buy Ford so I might make Ford out of business?

Sad news. I agree with what I read on a different forum. Combine Buick and Pontiac in a more deluxe brand. Saab and Saturn could combined into a Euro-centric brand. Shed some of the redundant models and rename the divisions. Get rid of Hummer. I don't care if the cars are still named Pontiacs, I want all the cool models to survive.

Go ahead palsut, buy a Ford. Truth is, the way it looks right now, they're gonna be around a lot longer than GM or Chrysler whether you buy one or not.

But I think this is exactly what GM needs to do. Along with killing Buick, Hummer and Saturn. Chevy loses all the truck sales to GMC. GMC has a better rep with contractors and comfort then the Chevy. Chevy gets all the cars and vans and small cross overs. Caddillac keeps the luxury.
Pretty similar to what Toyota and Honda do now. GM has way too much internal competition to survive. Herc they cant kill buick....its the best selling "forghin" car in china.......

It's sad that the Chinese love American cars more than most Americans. Honda and Toyota can't compete with GM in China. Of course, I don't think you'd recognize the Buicks being sold in China. It's just a brand name.
I say, to be fair, anger all GM fans equally by getting rid of all of the brands with the exception of Cadillac. Keep the best cars for each segment and brand them with GM (GM Corvette, GM Solstice, etc). Heresy I know, but most of the competition only has their regular brand and a high-end brand.
The really sad thing is that I've read more intelligent ideas about saving GM on forums like this than I have heard coming from the GM executives.

Because we get the crappy cars here. Look at the Holdens in Australia. Or even the Ford Focus in Europe
