Well! It tis time to change my tires. I've past 47,000 miles with the ones that I have and I am ready to replace. I currently have the Goodyear Eagle GT-HR. They have been quite nice so far and I am thinking that if they have worked twice, why not again?

What is everyone else driving on? I kinda like White Lettering on the sides, anyone recommend any brands?

cheers As always, thanks guys.

I've used Kumhos on my last two cars and had excellent service from them. 55k on one set alone, never had a blowout or pierced sidewall (or tread for that matter) very good all season performance and all at a reasonable price...I dont think they offer white letters tho...but then I never asked...just my 2 cents laugh

Hello,

Just FYI.
You won't find white letters that are rated for more then 118MPH.
Plus, White letters only come in 16" and smaller.

Later now,
Clint

I've got the Yokohama AS430s and I haven't had any complaints about them so far. First time I've ever had Yokohamas.

Alot of people like the BF Goodrich Traction T/As. Good grip and decent life span.

Sheese thunderbat! Your mods to the GP are getting out of control!

Steve, I was looking into those. How is the road noise and the snow traction?

Everyone else: How is the Hydroedge and Traction T/As against noise and snow.

I have Aquatred 3s and the noise is unbearable.

Low noise... never paid attention or notice the noise actually. thumbsup

Snow... it's not a snow tire but it handles well.

Go to tirerack.com There you can get a good selection of tires and compare one model to another as for dry wet snow tire wear etc.
