Need Help Not Sure Whats Wrong...My engine (whole front end) shakes while accelerating/maintaing speed. The shake worsens when the speeds are higher. When I'm coasting/idling my car runs perfect. I was told by a mechanic that it is my EGR Value, I plan to disable this over the weekend but I'm not sure if I can trust the mechanic or not. Anyone have any ideas? (btw it isn't my tires or spark plugs I checked those things out first)

Is your check engine light on or does it flash when the car shakes?

My check engine light is on and stays on. My plugs and wires are good, my tires are fine, I just replaced my mounts and it dimmed the shaking but did not fix it. My gas mileage is equal to what it has always been, and my engine doesn't sputter but occassionally it feels like it has a lack of power/or a delay of power.

Get the code. Then we'll talk. Autozone should be able to read it for you for free.

I'm gonna say P0300 Multiple misfires. Just a guess.

Get the code. Does it only happen when driving? could be a tire balance or alignment issue.

Bes sure you bring the code, not just their explanation.
