I've been looking around and have found that most of you guys like the Flowmaster 40 series, does anyone have a sound clip of them? How they look etc.? Also, an estimate of how much they cost.

I have to tell you...I have yet to see a movie or sound clip that best expresses the sound you get from 40's or super 40's.

They are deeeep, very deep, like a good subwoofer deep.

I am going to have to do a recording sometime. I have professional equipment that will better represent the tone.

A big problem too is the sound system reproducing the sound.

I like them. I've been researching this for a while and it seems like FMs are the best bet for the money, I am a penny pincher. What size should I get? 2.5"?

Here's the list of mufflers that fit the GP on FM's website.

I'm working at a body shop this summer and there was a Grand Am at the shop next to us that had a body kit, lights, all kinds of stuff. The guy said that he had a cutout. It sounded nice at id;e but after 2000 rpm, it just plain sounded like crap, ie. fart can and just soooo freaking loud.
