Hello all,
New member with a 2001 GP GT. I love it, but the non-GM dealer gave me a keyless remote (after they looked for an hour) that I believe is the wrong one. After searching on E-bay for the correct one, there are at least 2 different ones offered that say they work with a 2001 GP. The back of the one they gave me is GM 10246215 and FCC ABO0204T. I think this must be for a 2000, based on E-bay part numbers. I know I can call the GM dealer tomorrow, but they may be reluctant to give out part numbers on it, who knows? If anyone with a 2001 can give me the code on the back of their fob, I would really appreciate it. I would like to make sure I order the right one off E-bay.
By the way, if anyone needs this remote when I figure out what one to get, I'll sell it REALLY cheap. It is in like new condition.

that page tells me that the remote you have belongs to a 1997-2000 Grand Prix
Part #10246215

The part number for the 2001-2003 remote is 9364556-4575

I'd go back to the dealer and complain. lol I suppose it probably wouldn't do anything though.
