1. Is it possible to make your engine too cool via too much cold air intake or other cooling devices?
2. I've been looking at this Cam Shaft and don't know what variant would be best for a 2003 Grand Prix GT.
3. What is a boost controller for? (stupid question)

THX GUYS

I dont think it will be "too cool" cold air intake just helps make the air more dence so you can fit more air into the cyl.

2. for a cam make shure you have other supporting mods. if you upgrade to some cams you have to upgrade springs valves and lifters and such ... you might also want to run an aftermarket pcm with all of this or get a powertuner so you can program your pcm to however you would like it.

boost controlers are for turbocharged cars they let you adjust the amount of boost that the blow off valve releases at so you dont get an excess amount of boost in the engine

Well, i have heard things about a 160* T-stat being "too cool". That the motor never really gets hot enough. But as for intakes and stuff, no, the colder the better

You have to be careful choosing a cam for a N/A car one of the best I've found for a decent daily driver without going to a higher stall convertor is ZZP's GT1 cam.Chico.

It depends on supporting mods. I'm not sure about boost, but you can get 300+HP w/o the intercooler. If you use an intercooler, you can safely run 400+ HP.

you can run pretty high... I know I've heard of people pushing 15-17 psi and running low 11's... I think that would be fast enough, huh?
