42.5's are a good idea when you start getting into the 3.1-3.0 pulley range. Some cars are different, and the only way to find out is to tune it afterward. I wouldn't worry about it until you get into that pulley range, though.

even with the gen v? becuase i got a 3.6 now, but i will be going intercooled now and i plan on dropping down to a 3.5/3.4 yes i am only going to be using a ssic but depending on how i like it i really want to go with a fullsize ic, but i dont plan on going any further after i get intercooled

no need to upgrade injectors until your scans show you maxing the ones you have.
