This was the first time I ever been to any official track of any sort. I live in Nebraska, so the closest 1/4 track around here is like 2 hours, so I just went to a 1/8 about a half hour away. Annnyway. Tell me if these numbers are about right for my mods please. Also, my r/t was bad on this run, but it was my best time. (My best r/t was .059 which I was proud of)

R/T .415
60" 2.272
330 6.103
1/8 9.261
MPH 78.13

At first I was angry, because I thought that thsi meant my 1/4 mile time would be 18.4, but I'm sure you guys know that this in not the case. Some guy told me down there that on average, you add about 4 seconds to your 1/8 time and that is your 1/4 time. If so, 13.26 I am happy with.

So is this good, bad, average? I just want some honest opinions. All I can say is the rush I got on my first race was huge. I was so excited, all I kept thinking was, don't smash it, don't smash it. Light goes green, and I just floored it, and got a 10.8. Hahaha, anyway.

Thanks guys. cheers

Your reaction time isn't that bad for the first time at the track. Times look good. You should definetly go to the 1/4 mile track and get an honest time, you seem to be doing pretty well.

Hello,

1/8th mile conversions don't work so well.
Some cars don't come alive until just before the 1/8th, and some cars fall off just after the 1/8th.
As far as the GTP......
In my car, when I see a 9.2 at the 1/8th, it usually ends up being a 14.2 (give or take a bit)in the 1/4.
If you go to a 1/4 mile track, they should have 1/8th mile times on your slip. This is where I'm getting my information from.
