Best size tires to use on a stock 1999 GTP 4-Door??

Hello,
Has anyone used a different size tire other than the stock size of 225/60/16 on their GTP while still using the factory 16 inch wheels?

The stock size tires look wide enough, but the side profile looks too tall and thick.

Any other sizes recommended that won't mess up the speedometer calibration?

The obvious next size up is 235/55 16. It'll work but I don't think it's that popular.
Use this site tire size calculator and you'll see the speedo will barely be off.
