My windshield seal (black rubber piece around windshield) is pealing off on two top corners, like it tries to shrink or something, so those corners are exposed and a perfect trap for water..

I would assume this should be glued back in place?

If anybody dealt with gluing windshield seal what kind of adhesive did you use?

Any kind of cementing compound should work, I would go to home depot and look for an adhesive that seals rubber.

the seal on the passenger side of the windsheild is there on ours, but isn't really stuck in there. you can pull it away from the windshield if you want, but i've never put anything on it to hold it in place.

my dads old aurora, the back window had 3 seals i think replaced under warranty and 1-2 for the front. everytime, they would shrink up or expand and just not do right.

So you think they are not glued?
I can see some traces of glue there (black) or maybe it's just traces of ruber contact..

get weatherstripping cement/glue/adhesive. They should have it at the auto parts stores

go to a body shop and ask them what they use to glue/set windshields in place get some of that. before you reglue, make sure to clean it out REALLY good, and take a Q-Tip with alcohol to swab it really clean, let alcohol to dry (five minutes max) then place glue in it and press it into place! It's that simple!!

good luck crazy thumbsup
