Ok well I tried to stay away from screwing my gauge pod into the frame of the car, but my double sided tape just isn't working.

Do you guys have any suggestions or hints to make the process easier?

mark the wholes, dont screw it in while pod is in, youll end up cracking it. mark the holes, drill them smaller than the size of the screw, then take a screw driver and screw them in until its in nice and snug.

Self tapping screws in the metal side pillar is what I did.

Industrial strength velcro? I love that stuff, I've heard of people mounting their TVs to the wall with it, lol...

Yeah I tried that route with the double sided mounting tape..but I realized that I would have needed a ton of it and it probably still wouldn't have stayed.

It's just hanging there now and its really bugging me.
