I saw the flitz thing on TV last night and thought it might work well on my chrome 5 stars. Has anyone tried this and is willing to vouch for it's performance?

it's a polisher or whatever that hooks up to a drill or maybe it is already hooked up to a motor(haven't really paid attention to the commercial) polish your wheels. seems like it would probably work.

maybe get one cheap off ebay.

here's a link, the one in the commercial looks a little different i think, but same concept:

If I wax my rims and spoiler, that means my GTX will go faster?

Flitz is some of the best metal polish out there. They were around way before the TV commercial, but you should be able to buy it at hardware stores and the like. I'd suggest using good old elbow grease though and not their drill-powered rag.
