Do you guys think these are too ricer?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PONTIAC-G...Q5fAcce ssories

My passenger side has delaminated and now has moisture in it. If I'm going to replace it, I am opening up the possibility of aftermarket.

Things to note:
1. I don't want tinted tails on my car
2. I don't like any kind of chrome tail lights
3. I've seen these on a local club member's car and the flames are barely noticable (thank goodness). Granted their car is black and mine is redfire metallic...but I think these might look ok since the trim around the windows is black.

Too ricer? Should I stick with boring old OEM?

I got the red LED one's you can see my pics in that thread that was posted. They are very bright at night and the quality is real good. I recommend them to anybody.

Is there any way you could post the photos direct? I'm not a member on that site and I really dont want to register to yet another forum just to see a photo.

I've seen some LED tails and I wasn't impressed, but I'll give these a look if you say they are good.

Thanks. Haha, I came back here to edit my post and didn't expect anyone else to be on. I just saw the Spyder ones on youtube in the install video...same as the last pair you show on here...I like them. The real dark ones. I might get a pair of them. Just dropped $700 on a new bedroom set for my kid today, but maybe after my next paycheck...

Once the tails have delaminated they are pretty much useless unless you tint them right? There is no way to get the nice black part back again?

I believe it is a smoked lens as in the plastic used is smoked. Ive used smoked acrylic for computer case windows before and the material itself is smoked.

Do you mean the stock tail lights? As in once you get those stupid bubbles?

Yeah I meant my stockers. For my passenger one that is delaminated is there any way to "fix" it, or do I just have to sell it to someone who wants a pair to tint?

Thanks. Definitely like the smoked ones best. I think the red ones with my redfire paint would just be too much. The black ones just have too much chrome.

Thanks for helping me decide. Wife approved. Will get some next month.

EDIT: Have you or anyone had these ones leak? Should I silicone them just to be sure?

I have had no issues so far since getting these. They went on smoothly and so far no leaks.
