Depends..

I once spent $32.00 at Walmart on spay cans and painted my 68' Cadillac DeVille

Or you can spend thousands upon thousands to get a killer paint job.

If you want just a re-paint of the original color, expect 3-6k

Are there any "Maco's" left in the world? I remember them as being a drive through paint place for 300.00 to 500.00 back in the 70's and 80's...

Uh-Oh, better get Maaco!

Yeah, there's Maaco's still, I would expect for their premium paint job, (which I've seen personally and it looked good, about $1200-$1500... they also have different levels that you can get for less than a grand. Search google for Maaco and see what you come up with.

Ah yes, Earl Schieb... Herd ALOT about them but never used them, haha... The best way to find out prices is to call around, if you just want the outside repainted and not do the door jambs or anything like that your looking at a few grand for a good paint job

Don't go to Maaco, they are crap. The paint might look good, but you might as well put it back in your budget in the next few years, b/c it will chip or peel of. They don't do the hard part correctly ( prep work ).

Perhaps though, you could get it painted now, so it looks perfect, then sell it, and in a few years, it's not his problem! laugh

Who knows... I'm not trying to lead anyone in the wrong direction, but its a good alternative if your working with a budget... not everyone can chunk out 4k for a paint job... I know I sure can't... I was just throwing it out there
