I was at AutoZone today picking up a part.

oh ok chris gt. well the rest of that stuff is junk, but cant go wrong with a k&n filter and a tornado. they dont make a tornado for a gtp, but i put a k&n filter and tornado on my torrent gxp and it picked up 6 tenths in the quarter.

Sorry but the tornado did not have any affect on your quarter mile time. Those things do not work in way, shape, or form.

if you do a lil research you will see that there are TRUE dyno tests that show you actualy lose HP and torque from a tornao


there is no way a tornado and a K&n picked you up damn near 3/4 of a second.

if that was the case why wouldn't the people who drag race for a living all run tornado's on their cars

do you really believe that your engine doesn't mix the air and fuel enough? if you think that you have never been into an engine past the filter.

back when i was in HS my auto class actually did a test with one. we lost between .5-2 HP on average

well 2fast4u i dont know weather a tornado gains or loses hp. but all i know is after i installed a k&n filter and a tornado on my torrent gxp it went from 15.70's to 15 teens. so i dont know if it from the the filter and tornado or from it getting broke in and picking up on its own, it just kept getting faster every time i ran it.
