In my 02 gt I was going about 95mph when I heard a two-second-long beep, I slowed down immediately and had no lights or anything. My car never started to over-heat, no lights, no smell, no leaking, I just would like to know what the beep meant. It was an electronic beep sounded like it came from the dash info thing. If anyone has any idea what the beep was, it would be very much appreciated.

Welcome to the club!

The only time mine has ever done that is when my trunk has randomly popped open. For some reason it does that randomly sometimes. I have heard a few people have the same problem.

I doubt that helped, but i really have no idea

Can't help you, but I had my car honk before for no reason twice. I was with my gf and we just started cracking up! We were on the highway, but weren't going 95mph....much less.

I'm in the honk for no reason club. Happened at low and highway speeds. Never had the high speed beep though. Its probably just a sensor somewhere.

How were you on gas? My DIC beeps at me when I get low on fuel. It does it before my low fuel light flashes on my gauges. Took me a few weeks to get used to it.

i am apart of the honk for no reason club also, but it has to do with my alarm. When i set my alarm with the key fob, at any point when it is set, it will go off for 5 beeps and shut off. It will continue to do this at random. Someone suggested that it may be the sensitivity but i have no clue where the adjuster is. In the mean time i just lock my car from inside overriding the alarm but still activating the security system (deactivating the fuel pump).

I found out recently that my trunk cannot pop using the button in the glove box, or with the key, unless the car is in park. Interesting.

Yup that's the way it's supposed to work. The transaxle range switch cuts off voltage to the trunk release when your car is not in Park. If your trunk pops open while in gear, either the transaxle range switch needs to be adjusted or replaced, or you've got a wiring related problem.

My trunk randomly pops open too, and then I get that beep, it really pissed me off because i attempted to run a little ethanol in my car cause it is higher octane.

And then the ses light goes on an off untill the gas is run though.

A day after the car started dinging at me and I thought it was somthing with the gas. Took me forever to figure out it was the trunk.
