Hello everyone, newbie here. I just picked up an 01 GT coup with 61k on it. Couple of questions, first, I've noticed that the clock/radio station display will cut out or look like it's getting a signal from "Aliens" from time to time. It doesn't effect the stereo or any of the functions at all it just goes "Goofy" and then returns to normal after a few mins. Anyone else have a similar problem??

Second, It's missing 10 of those plastic lug nut covers, GM dealer wants $4.90 a PIECE for them. Anybody know of a cheap place to pick some up?

Thanks.

Might try a junk yard and look for wreaked GP to find the plasic lug caps. For the radio display...mine doesn't work, I'm going to guess there's a lose wire in the unit.

For that price, you might as well buy some locking lugs... O'Reilly has them for less than $20 a set. They look sharper and will protect those high-value stock wheels from being vandalized! smile

Pontiac's have a problem with the radio displays on their cars my brother has a 97 grand am that had the same problem now it doesn't work at all and my 2002 grand prix did the same thing. There is a bulb in the radio you can replace but I went the other way and just installed a sony xplode cd player in my car and my bro just lives with it. The bulb actually isn't hard to get to I took mine out but I wanted a cd player in my car that way the discman didn't fly all over the place when I turned corners.

You're welcome! I realize you just needed the lug covers; just send Ed Morad (in the link I gave you) an e-mail and he should be able to hook ya up. wink

Not gonna lie man, that would be a huge waste of money... $8.99/set x 4wheels = $35.96 + $10 shipping...

Almost $50 for lug nut covers... too much if you ask me.

The chrome ones at PFYC are comparable in price to the ugly grey ones sold at the dealer.
