Be glad you don't have a grand am with the Quad4. When I went to change the thermostat, I was expecting a 5 minute jobby, like the GP. Then I found out I have to put the car on a ramp, remove the lower hose, and REMOVE THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD!!! The thermostat is in the back of the water pump, which is tucked behind the exhaust manifold out of view and out of reach. I was like, heeeeeeeeeell no. So I did the flush the long tedious way. And I coulndn't reach the drain plug unless I removed the fan, and that took a lot of elbow grease trying to clear the intake manifold removing the fan....
