LOL...I should have mentioned that. My buddy couldn't take on the concept of the easy-out. He broke his vise trying to take the damn thing out. I asked him if he was turning it the right way...he insisted he was....after watching him fight w/ a couple of wrenches for a while, I grabbed them, reversed them, and out popped the easy out. I said..."you were turning it the wrong way". Any ways, that's what happened to the threads. The threads in the head easily excepted the new plug.
