I knew that the compressor was set to cut out at high speeds. I didn't know that the fan in the passinger compartment was also designed to cut out whe the engine was under a heavy load. I rarely drive where the engine is running at that high of an RPM, as I live in a rural area and use back roads to get to the city (Pittsburgh). Not a big deal, but if something was wrong wanted it fixed under warrenty.
