Hi everyone,

I am looking to replace the fuel pump in my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix as a recently found out it is weak and that is why my car cycles so long before firing. I wish Pontiac still had that access pump they had in the older Grand Prix models. Oh well.

Is there any best way to go about this? I have seen a lot of people cutting out that access port, but I am not sure if I want to cut into the body if I don't have to. How difficult would it be to drop the gas tank and pull it out from the bottom? I hear this is a common problem with these grand prixs. Has anyone else here dealt this?
