Well, the only way to test it is to turn it on and see if it works.

If it doesn't it should definitely be covered under warranty ... unless you have your windows tinted or scratched.

The dealer could say that the tint shop effed it up and you would have to take it up with them, as the manufacturers warranty only covers manufacturing defects and not boneheaded aftermarket guys :-D

I had to go after the tintshop that worked on my old Honda Accord so many years ago. Had a lawyer buddy draft up a nasty letter and they caved right away.

Lawyers are good for something sometimes. Good luck! :-D
