- Problem Abstract: Car keeps stalling
- Reported By: Are Barstad (abarstad@bconnex.net)
- Year: 1998
- Model: GTP
- Applicable Options: All options
- Solution: Cars stalled 6 times the first 3000 miles. Several attempts to fix. Dealership could not reproduce stalling. They finally found that three wires wired in the transmission was tight, worn and exposed. They told me this was the second GTP at that dealership with same problem
- Cost: warranty
- Other: Also have problems with squeeling (cricket type noise) from the blower fan (AC/Heat). They replaced it, but told me that it would probably happen again. They are working on a permanent fix. Pontiac said "It's the nature of the beast"
